Watford Celebration! 2010

The Celebration of Watford's rainbow of cultures returns in 2010, organised by Greg Peachey and his team, and sponsored by St Michael's Catholic High School Garston and Elected Mayor Dorothy Thornhill.

Last year our numbers increased to around 3000 people, sharing and sampling each other’s diverse food, music, dance, drama, art, culture, customs and beliefs! To recall how just how well it went, please re-visit our website www.watfordcelebration.org, kindly constructed on a voluntary basis by Tony DeAngelis of Active Image. This year we plan to include some fresh, new, exciting features.

The principal aim of the Day is to bring the various communities of Watford together as one family. The theme this year will be "One Town Together".

Venue: The Colosseum, Rickmansworth Road, Watford, WD17 3JN

You or your group are warmly invited to take part. Please get in touch via the website.

Please note that in order to catch the Watford Colosseum before it closes for refurbishment, the event has been moved forward to the first May Bank Holiday, Monday 3rd May 2010.

Full details will be published in due course.
